Venues in Amsterdam don’t get much more inspiring than those at the Conservatorium.

Blending the world of art and culture with the wonder of gathering together, every event in one of the world’s cultural capitals deserves a venue that positively sings. Enter the Conservatorium hotel – whether it’s an annual board meeting or just business as usual, or indeed even a banquet or auction, we have a venue that will suit your needs. And whilst other hotels hide their meeting rooms, we gave ours a place of pride, designing a special events tower right in our landmark lobby.

Venues at the Conservatorium

The Symphony Room
Positioned on the third floor with views across the courtyard, into the atrium and of the hotel’s historic façade, the Symphony Room is an illustrious space ideal for grand occasions. With high ceilings and plenty of natural daylight, it can host lunches or dinners and numerous types of receptions. A satellite kitchen is located next door, and the room is equipped with high definition technology.

The Harmony Room
The Harmony Room is located on the second floor, peering down on the central cavity of the hotel’s inner atrium through floor-to-ceiling glass windows. The room seems to hover imposingly just above the lobby, enjoying the commotion below, yet being slightly removed from it, which adds to the intimate atmosphere. The 36 sqm space overlooking the glass atrium is the perfect venue to host more exclusive and private events.

The Blue Room
The Blue Room is an elegant boardroom meeting space denoted by its intimate atmosphere, signature blue detailing, and views out onto the courtyard. It is set up in a fixed boardroom/dinner style, and offers both a LCD screen and a built in beamer.

The Yellow Room
The Yellow Room is a comfortable space with fixed boardroom and dinner set-up, signified by its namesake colour. The space overlooks the historic building and offers a built-in LCD screen, which can be used for presentations.

The Red Room
The Red Room is an intimate space designed with a fixed boardroom and dinner set-up, featuring its signature colour. The historic building can be seen through glass windows and the Red Room also features a built-in LCD screen, which can be used for presentations.

The Orange Room is the perfect intimate space, with a fixed boardroom and dinner set-up. It is positioned at the corner of the glass building, providing stunning views over the atrium and historic building. The Orange Room also offers a built-in LCD screen which can be used for presentations.

If you are arriving in your own car, please use our Paulus Potter entrance located at Paulus Potterstraat 50. If your navigation system can’t find number 50, please enter number 44 instead; you will find the entrance immediately. The hotel has limited parking space on site, so please mind that valet parking may use an external parking garage to park your car. We advise you to remove valuable items from your car when parking outside the hotel. At the moment we can only accept parking for hotel guest with a reservation for an overnight stay. Valet parking is subject to charge. Charges are hourly for short stays with a maximum of €95,- per 24 hours.

If you are arriving in Amsterdam by Eurostar, depart the train at Schiphol Airport and follow the directions below. If you are arriving with the ICE train, please follow the directions from Central Station. Taxis are also available at Central Station. A taxi ride to the hotel should cost about €25,- and take around 30 minutes. When leaving the hotel towards Central Station to catch your train upon departure, we recommend to leave 45 minutes in advance. Please only use official taxis. The Conservatorium hotel offers a car service that includes a welcome in the arrival hall of Schiphol Airport. Charges start at €135,-. To book this service, please email us or call us on +31 (0) 20 570 0060 to contact our concierge team. By public transport, bus number 397 leaves the airport next to the taxi stand and stops at the Museum square (Museumplein), which is a three- minute walk to the hotel. Tickets are about €5,-. Please be informed limited tickets are sold by the driver. Learn more about using your debit/credit card for public transport here. Transfer time is approximately 40 minutes.

We offer bike racks and storage facilities for your bike. Additionally, if desired, we can provide changing rooms. We offer rental bikes should you not be in the possession of a bike. Kindly inform our concierges should you wish to use the hotel bikes.
